End of the year and looking forward
The end of the year is typically a time to both look back at what we accomplished and to set our sights on the future. This year I wrote and illustrated a picture book, something I never thought I’d do. What started as a challenge then grew into a passion project and finally became something I’m proud of. Then I wrote a short story for an anthology and got accepted. It’s a retelling of an old Slovenian folk tale, with an added wizard-like person, a kresnik. Writing update
I think it’s about time to post about the status of my writing. Where is my..? The story of Esther, looking for her basket, is finished, I’m only waiting for the illustrations. Once they are done and after formatting, the story will be ready to be published. For the curious ones, a reading of the first chapter is available on my YouTube channel.
