Jack was furiously searching his small wooden house. The many holes in the walls made it drafty, the roof was leaky, and the floors squeaky. But this was home for Jack and he wouldn’t change it for any manor in the world. “Where could it be?” he shouted in frustration to no one. After looking into every nook and cranny for his beautiful pumpkin at least three times, he finally threw up his arms in exasperation. It was five hours until Halloween, when he and the other spirits would leave their realm and cross into the world of the living, and his pumpkin, his head, was missing.
